Here at Palm State Mortgage, we are very focused on “things financial.” We know you have seen many Holiday articles and blogs about attending your finances carefully during the holidays, especially if you are planning on purchasing a home in 2014.

We also know that many of you will spend over your budget in the last days before Christmas 2013 and the first days of 2014.

According to the experts at American Research Group, “shoppers around the country say they are planning to spend an average of $801.00 for gifts this holiday season. This is  down from $854 last year according to the twenty-ninth annual survey on holiday spending from the American Research Group, Inc.”

In a random sample of 1,100 adults nationwide November 10 through 14, 2013, the average planned spending of $801.00 for 2013 is down over 6% from average planned spending in the 2012 survey.

We could not help but wonder if they stuck to their budget plan, or how much of their plan was on credit, meaning they would pay several times that much by the time they paid off their new credit card debts.

We are not going to give you a budget plan or news from the financial world today. Today’s blog is for wishing you Joyful Holidays, however, we are going to submit to you:

You see, this list will not cost you much in terms of financial commitment. It is a list of abstract gifts from deep within the human heart. We add to it our Heartfelt Good Wishes For The Season from Palm State Mortgage.

Palm State has always believed that our success can only be measured in the goodwill of the friends we make, and the clients we serve. There can be no better time of year to express our gratitude for your friendship and support.

Through this blog we are sending a shining Holiday “Thank you” to our families and friends, as well as to our business associates.

Enjoy Your Holidays!

It is a time to celebrate the hearts of Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and New Years. We believe the heart of every Holiday is the celebration of quality family time. W e agree with author Burton Hillis, who wrote “the best of all gifts around any Christmas tree is the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.”

Amidst the high energy of fun, food and family, we have but three small requests: Take care of your finances, watch your family budget, and remember we are here to help you buy your dream home.

We sincerely hope you will enjoy a coming year filled the abstract gifts of 2014:

Happiness, health,

peace and posterity.
